There are 12 million privately-held businesses in the US, and it is estimated that 60% will change hands in the next 10 years. Most of this change will occur as Americans age and owners decide to retire or change careers. The irony is that most business owners have not positioned their businesses for sale, and most do not understand how to maximize the value of the business they wish to sell.

We work with the business owner to develop a team of professionals to help in planning and execution of an exit strategy – business owner, business appraiser, attorney, accountant, banker, transaction advisor, and other financial advisors. Collectively, the team develops exit objectives; determines value based on various alternative exit strategies; develops plans to preserve, protect, and promote value by enhancing value and wise ownership strategies; and convert the business into cash or other forms of usable resources.
