In addition to being President of Perigon Advisors, Leckie Rives is Managing Director of The McLean Group’s Asheville, North Carolina office. Mr. Rives has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry including time spent as a senior executive for a $2-billion-plus NYSE company and for two venture-backed startups where he worked extensively in fundraising, acquisitions, financial management and strategic planning across multiple industries.
Mr. Rives spent 18 years at United Dominion Industries (UDI), a diversified public company with $2-billion-plus in annual revenues, rising to CFO for UDI’s $600 million Industrial Products Segment. Mr. Rives also ran the Strategic Planning and Corporate Development function that reported directly to the CEO for over 7 years. Mr. Rives played key roles in the acquisition and integration of target companies and the development of financial controls for UDI.
During his career, Mr. Rives has led the completion of 24 acquisitions and 26 divestitures. While at Perigon Medical, he helped raise more than $41 million in equity capital to support a roll-up strategy in the health care services industry.
Mr. Rives earned his BA from Dartmouth College, an MBA at Dartmouth’s Amos Tuck School of Business and an MA in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University. Mr. Rives holds both Series 62 and Series 63 securities licenses and is a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) registered representative with McLean Securities, LLC.
