Becky graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting in 1986. After graduating she worked with Electronic Data Systems as part of the Accounting and Financial Development Team in Dallas. She then went on to work in public accounting where she received her CPA.
In 1990 she accepted the controller position for a start up restaurant company, Atlantic Quest Corporation, where she eventually became President and CEO in 2002. Mrs. O’Daniell and her partners grew Atlantic Quest to an $18 million company and eventually sold to a larger restaurant group in March 2008. She stayed on as a partner and consultant with the new company until November 2009.
Mrs. O’Daniell received her CVA in 2006 and her CFE in 2009. She is a consultant to small closely held businesses, specializing in the Food and Beverage industry.
Becky is a native of Wilmington, NC. She serves on the North Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Board of Directors, UNCW Cameron School of Business Executive Advisory Board, and UNCW Entrepreneurial and Business Advisory Board. She is an occasional speaker at UNCW for Business Week and various other business classes.
